I thank you for the correction, because when translating this manga it really confused me. I just stuck to the conversation without rearranging the sentences to make sense
Just in case you plan to reupload a fix or something, there's the "1th" and "2th" nearing the last page, when MC sleep. They're supposedly 1st (first) and 2nd (second), no?
Aside from that, I'm guessing you're not native english, but I don't notice jarring issue in your translation, so I say all else is good. (except that one that the others had mentioned, but that's more of a context issue I guess)

I think everyone here is misrepresenting/misunderstanding the FMC/First childhood friend...she's not tsundere...she's stepping away because she heard the confession. It made her cold to the MC...which isn't surprising.

What?!?!? Shock... horror... Don't tell me the tsundere childhood friend keeps getting overlooked and will miss out in the end because she obfuscates her true feelings?!?!?! What a totally new and fresh story concept.
I'm wondering if this needs a love triangle tag? Either way, I have no urgent reason to pick this up. I may come back to it in 100 chapters...

Whew, yeah this is a tough one.

Hyouka liked MC throughout their childhood, but MC only sees her as a friend. MC was never romantically interested in her and to confess to another girl.

First, Iori;
On the account that he was a middle schooler then, I'll give the naivety a pass, but his ignorance to why Hyouka treats him the way she does is unpalatable;
1. She changed her tune to him alone.
2. She knows about the confession, meaning he should've at least realized that she knew "he ditched his friend he knew since childhood for some class flower who was just being nice."

Onto Hyouka...
1. Why is she so fixated on Iori? I can't think of a single reason why she would actively interact and attack a guy who, not only doesn't reciprocate her feelings, but doesn't respect their friendships on the same level as herself. The only justification I can think of is that she wants to tear down his self-esteem while remaining close to him. He already stated that he doesn't have friends so maybe she wants to make him socially dependent on her? I don't know, but that idea sounds worst. Just move on. To facilitate it, stop interacting with his family. Cut all ties, else you'll continue to cling. If not, be honest for once and fucking confess. His dumbass has proven to have the social IQ of a toddler, so unless she makes the first move, he'll find the next "nice" girl to cling to.

Lastly, new girl...
1. I don't think she is the girl he confessed to. MC's like Iori are only perceptive when it comes to appearances so I believe he'd recognize her, but assuming she IS, what reason does she have to interact with someone she rejected? Maybe as a social butterfly, she was being nice to him to boost her image in middle school. But now, maybe she could be using him to help boost her image again, since as a transfer, it'd probably be easier to do so through a known connection... But he's in a different class, so even that is questionable. If she, for some reason, DO like him, why reject him? Did she like him before or after the rejection? If it was after, what about him changed that she liked? What about her changed that could've influenced her interest in him?
If it was before... I don't even want to dig into that.

2. Assuming she isn't that girl, which is what I think is the case, I have nothing to really say about her as a character... that's a lie, what the hell was that at the end? Did him coping a feel flip something in her? Why did she latch onto him so soon and abruptly? From her reception to getting felt, to her touchiness with Iori, I'm going to guess this has to do with her old school and her being a transfer student.

Am I interested? Interested enough to write this, but will I invest anymore time and thought into this? My senses are warning me, and I've learned not to go against them when it comes to media catered to the "new youth." I doubt this will be a fun read, so I'll have to pass.

Let me guess, the new girl is going to be all over MC, but he'll end up with FMC anyways because she's first girl? Place your bets everyone.

What?! My crush didn't confess to me?! He went to some other girl?! Let's tear his self-esteem to shreds! That will show him! He'll surely come to like me now!
Girls ... why are you like this?

I'll give this a few more chapters, but if none of the characters get any better, I'm dropping it.

I think it says enough about the story that the one thing I find most worth commenting on is that I like the possible Detective Conan reference with the football-player named Kudou.

I don't know about this one....

The returning girl seems to be the teasing type. The VERY teasing type, and I don't particularly like that. Also, we still don't know WHY she rejected him back then. If she rejected him because she didn't like him that way back then it's fine....
But if she rejected him because she thought it was fun to do so, and wanted to keep him tense, then it's not really fine in my book. And yes, imo that's entirely possible in this type of manga.

But the mega tsundere girl is really NO GOOD either. Because there's a limit to being tsundere, really. It seems she's sort of... abusive in her behaviour, and I really dislike that.
Also, proper communication please. If you never tell the person that you like him and in fact treat him harshly, what do you expect is going to happen? Why do you even think he's going to ever like you?

Let's see what happens in the next few chapters...
Or she rejected him because she was moving away. Remember that on the rooftop she said that she wanted to get a good view since she has returned to the town.

I believe she truly likes the MC in a romantic way. But the story is set up so that we have two extremely contrasting heroines. One is super clingy and touchy, whereas the other distances and berates as much as possible. Neither is an ideal partner.

I’m looking forward how this manga develops, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets axed before the story gets good (if it ever gets good to begin with).

Sorry, but you've gotta go for it instead of expecting the other party to just keep hovering around you for the rest of your life.

If you don't show any obvious romantic interest, a person who does is going to win.
Yes plus she says a lot of negative stuff about him in this chapter. I wouldn't want someone who treats me like that

The drawing is awkward, and the pacing is start-and-stop. So I'm guessing that most of the problem with the translated dialogue is with the source, rather than in the translation. Still, the translator doesn't really get the concept of tsundere; equating it with just tsun.
Well dere is the cute side, she hasn't shown that yet. All she's done is distant and tell him how every week a handsome guy is after her and how he's gloomy, all tsun no dere yet

Among the manga projects that I translated, this is a manga that made me confused during the translation process. I had difficulty on pages 25-30.
Yeah the first chapter has a bad flow and feels like it's trying to fit in to many things at once. Hopefully the later chapters won't have this issue

I figured this was an adaptation from how it's portraying its scenes (it feels like major context that a narration would provide is missing, things go by too fast and get too wordy, there's a little of awkwardness that comes trying to mash medium to another) and then I finally read the tags of this manga and basically confirmed it. Welp.

I guess it's time to ask if anyone knows if there's a translated version of the novel for this one?
