I feel sorry for Erika now, she was roped to instigate false accusations on Yukishiro by Hanabi who used her lack of friends and being "on her side" of "2D is better than 3D" crowd.
Now that the truth was told, all blame went on her instead of Hanabi who orchestrated it and she isolated herself from being bullied into hikikomori as it seems, hope Ichinose will get her out of this mess...

Ichinose lack of friends as Hanabi isolated him from everyone so she could control him is still deeply seeded in him, he has trust issues as the only "friend" he had was Hanabi, but glad after his change he became more confident although still has a long way to go.

Yukishiro was probably told by Nanao that Ichinose is mad on her because he "feels uncomfortable around her", reason why she avoided him all this time or met ugly ojisan/tanned gyaru guy who dicked her brain out, but most likely it's the former rather than latter... haha... right? Right?!?

Nah, I disagree... I think the current drama is a bit overdone and forced, but I think with good writing, this story could keep running. I always want to see stories progress past the initial arc. I want to see real life progress outside of the usual tropes and clichés, but so few Japanese authors seem able to pull it off, or maybe the domestic market doesn't have the same appetite as me, but I will always push to see more stories with the same characters. Fingers crossed.

there is precious little subtlety and finesse in Japanese pop culture writing. Most of it is dumpster fire trash, and yes so much of it is pumped out that you can just drop rubbish and move on, but I'm still willing to give chances to works that I enjoy the characters and or story. So, yes, this is going off the tracks a bit, but I'll stick with it a while longer.

Yeah, I don't feel bad for her. She's just running away from the consequences of her shitty actions. Being goaded by a malicious instigator does not remove her agency in choosing to do what she did. It was done out of envy and resentment, as demonstrated by her already shit talking her classmates for trying to be friendly with Souma post-sports festival. The class might have shunned her after the incident, but it's unlikely she'd be bullied. She's just mean-spirited and a coward.

She is isolated from the class for years, growing bitter and spiteful, even Ichinose mentioned that she is like him (chapter 16, during interrogation of Agawa) and Agawa not being her friend either, just sort of "geekmates".

Logically she would easily fall for Hanabi sweet talk as she has no friends whatsoever, luckily Ichinose found himself around true friends who didn't abuse his trust and acceptance like she did. Those kind of people are very easily manipulated, even Agawa got "swooned" by Ichinose and not only told about shady Souma actions but gave him her private account information.
Heck, there's even a semi-fictional story that ended very much worse for a person like her, you know, the "cursed numbers" one...

She is running away from "her" consequences because Ichinose decided to let his incompetent teacher to investigate on her own who really made her falsely accuse Yukishiro, in classmates eyes she is still behind the false accusations. (chapter 19)

He actually covered there for Hanabi, making her cause more shitstorm in the future.
