These stories are always so frustrating because you often have this opposing reincarnated character who is banally evil but with some seriously flawed motivations and tactics, and yet the protagonist is only ever a single step ahead.
So there is some shadow of the game's systems in place to where Lunaria can pare things down to the one obvious route Mana is taking. It's enough that our protagonist has been fighting uphill since her awakening even without another reinarcanator causing additional trouble, but now Mana is deep in there, with all her advantages as the game's heroine, becoming an ever more present and immediate danger. Of course no one will ever ask the question as to why these wicked events keep occurring, the connections of those being blamed for them, or how one-sided and targeted each has been and will be.
I'm glad that Lunaria, both original and new, has found some friends she's able to share thoughts with and bounce ideas off of. It's an extra little barrier of support against a frighteningly biased and lonely world. I do miss the more regular moments of realizing she still had and could gain more people on her side. If anything I'd be devastated if the merchant man who wasn't a part of this group chat, or any of them really, turned out to be plotting against her.
