She should just start theatrically lamenting that people keep targeting and lying about her. After multiple times others should pick up that there are people trying to frame Lunaria :meguu:
unfortunately, humans love drama, there will always be bad actors who will stir the pot just to see what happens

How would noone have seen Lunaria receive the logs and class materials? Wouldn't a teacher have handed those to her?
Also, glasses freak saying "It's simply not impossible" should be "It's simply impossible". Otherwise, she'd say it's possible to track the magic traces.

Synthesis of the chapter:

MC: "Proof of innocence"

Mob: "She's right, Lunaria is innocent"

GlassesBitch: "Counterargument"

Mob: "She's right, Lunaria is guilty"

MC: "Counter-counterargument"

Mob: "She's right, Lunaria is innocent"

And so on, until the MainBitch's arrival and the Chekov's tomato sauce.

Even if the teacher saids she did it doesn't mean Lunaria doesnt then go to the pen

If you advocated for his death, worse, his entire family...that would rile up the entire nobility against you, which would force the royal family to also go against you, since they depend on the nobility. Why? Because it means you're alright with killing nobles, and well...they're nobles. I'm looking WAY too deep into this, but to execute a noble without angering the nobility you need a GREAT reason. Not just "this teenager accused me of ruining some books" but more like "he tried to assassinate me" type shit.

I'm not advocating for anything, I'm just saying she's a DUCHESS. That's the noble title just under the king.
She has money and a title, she rules over a large tract of land and likely several cities, she likely has an army. She's within the top ten most important persons of the nation, and she is an important politician.

You just can't say "boohoo she killed a rabbit expel her". I would assume any sort of trial would involve the KING, who is the ONLY one who can judge her. And trying to frame her? Try to frame an almost head of state, in medieval times, and see what happens. Death and/or war is what happens.

This is the mangaka's fault by the way. I understand that this is a manga but... He made her a proper Duchess and then completely ignored that and put in the manga these low level mob enemies who somehow try to start shit with her. Now if these opponents were actual titled nobles, and not just kids, it would make some more sense...
And in fact, ANY parent whose child goes to this school would tell their children: do not piss off anyone, but especially don't piss off the prince or the duchess.

And logically if they want to accuse her of anything, they should go straight to the king, who once again is the ONLY one who has any authority over a duchess....

So is this going to be cycle over and over. A minion of the heroine accuses her of BS and she has to disprove it because she's guilty until proven innocent. Then she does and the heroine gets off scott-free. Rinse and repeat?

Theyre supposed to leave their rank at the door while in the school (which i assume was never a thing IRL) so using her rank to try and squish the charges would undercut her future intentions against the prince, plus she does know that in the original timeline she gets exiled at best, she knows her position isnt perfectly stable and needs to keep her name clean

Depends on the school. Apparently King Charles was treated like crap at his school Gordonstun when he was a teen.

I'd like to point out that four eyes' accusation here hinges on the fact that Lunaria was careful enough to not leave any mana trace by drinking the magic potion thing, but also careless enough to not notice she left her extremely noticeable handmirror on the crime scene. Lunaria probably didn't point it out here because she's got bigger things to worry about, but I do hope this gets brought up in the next chapter.

You know what they say; they hurt small animals today, then the vulnerables, after that the weak. Glasses girl is a psycho in progress.
