You can be bleeding from your head and have no life threatening injuries. Some of the pieces makes sense Ruri being the one on drugs & Tanasaki hiding Arika for a bit. This chapter still didn't explain how Arika was able to live when she fell on her head & had blood loss (possibly had a concussion) while also being buried alive with little to no oxygen to live on. Maybe I'm just being too nitpicky but I am happy that Arika's alive albeit she's probably a changed person after this traumatic event. Thanks for the translations.

The buried alive one, yeah that one just chalked it up as a miracle.
The grave was super shallow and the bag helped to creat a pocket of air. Probably Arika was waking up already when she was buried, a bit after they left she escaped from her graveI think we can safely assume they didn't do a good job burying her. It's unlikely they know properly bury a body and even if they did, their mental state likely would have led to sloppy work. It was also raining when they did the deed and when Arika rose from the grave, the soil was likely weaker than usual.
Ooh I like this one.I wonder if Arika returned to the country side where she and Nana were raised. Nana moved to the city before Arika arrived.
Maybe Arika now watched Nana from afar. Roles swapped.
Tbh, I've been kind of hoping that's the case. Like the way her eyes are so empty, it'd be so cool to see her a bit villainous, but I get the feeling the author likes Arika's purity too much and won't have that happen.Thank you for the translation!
"She is barely breathing" meaning she knows Arika is not dead yet, but she still buries her. With how we now know what actually happened and there are still 12 chapters left, my guess is the plot twist will be Arika becoming a kind of villain after all that happened to her.
I've been dying to see it more elaborated on! I'm sure it will eventually, altho I think prob he doesn't know bc he's been genuinely surprised or misled by some things, like when he almost bought into the Arika drug theory. But for all we know, maybe he only met with Arika one time after she disappeared, was vaguely hinted, got curious so investigated, became attached to the gang, etc. Otoh, I've been kind of really hoping there's more to Yamamoto too. Thanks for the chapter! You know, we still never wrapped up one of Nana's friends being the stalker. Is there any way he knows or has been helping her?
