Ah, hell. Looks like we'll be getting drama sooner than I expected.

Its not a misunderstanding, Kiss wants the boy. If he asked her out Miguel wouldn't stand a chance.
Obviously captain will somehow be forced out of the picture and Miguel will be the back up when Kiss can't have her first choice. My favorite GL trope. /s

That's not really what's happening here at all and a weird way to describe things. She has feelings for both but also just met Miguel and is growing her relationship with her, while she already knew Captain before.
Anytime we have a bisexual character we get these weird comments. At this point of the story it is absolutely not clear that she would choose Captain because her feelings for Miguel have grown strong; but a confession would rattle her for sure, just like a confession from Miguel would too.
This specific situation is a misunderstanding though because she doesn't intend the hug to mean the same things the guy does; but you're right that she does like him as well.

That's kinda a harsh or horrible for that boy's demise.
He's not a bad person as per his past story, he's just one of the chaebol son that's been pressured to be a great person just like his dad. Ofc we need a little drama before our girl's love wins.

This has been really great but I got one critique; change Miguel's gender and her relationship with MC wouldn't be too different.
I don't like when it being same sex is the main conflict in the story but I do think it should be a part of the plot, just like how it is in real life.
Hopefully I'm just speaking too soon.
But yeah love male love interest, an actually pretty good guy, this makes the story a lot more interesting.

To give credit to who you were replying to; MC is getting closer to Miguel and has affection for her but it seems clear she doesnt consciously see her as a love interest, while she has a big long time crush on Captain. So if he were to confess now I think she'd accept in a heartbeat.
But to give you credit, I'd see her having conflicting feelings if she were to see Miguel having a negative reaction over it.

I'm mostly disagreeing with their idea that "Miguel wouldn't stand a chance," or "Miguel would be the back up, etc." It's a very odd way of describing a genuine romance that is forming after the MC started the series with an already established crush.
The fact that Miguel has already risen in the MCs mind to rival what was for her a long held crush is a positive for their relationship. If anything it sucks for the guy because he had a headstart and is about to be lapped by this newcomer.
You don't typically get these kind of comments unless one of the girls is bisexual and there's a guy involved. Bisexual characters often get treated oddly and I picked up on that familiar tone.
As for what you said: that's fair but I'd disagree that she would choose him if he confessed here. Even if she did--which would be normal because she's liked him for some time--the series has shown that her feelings for Miguel are currently stronger, though she's still in slight denial about them. In that case her relationship with him would likely falter very quickly to her growing feelings for her new "friend." Miguel would not be a "back up."

The cope is strong with this one. Kiss is head over heels for Captain and has never once considered Miguel as anything beyond a friend. The story is 100% clear the Captain is the clear winner if he asked her out. Miguel stands zero chance head to head. The plot will force Captain out and Miguel will swoop in for the rebound.
