This was a pretty good one.

I liked the character's design, the arrangement, and for the page limit, they did a good job establishing that Count as the antagonist.
The rehabilitation of the prince didn't feel that cheap, and it didn't feel like they were making him overtly pathetic to sell it either.

This could have just been a normal reincarnation story without the villainess angle and in fact could be a tighter story for it, but I guess throwing in some hooks to get eyes on the story isn't bad. She certainly proved herself a skilled schemer at the end too, despite fucking up the lie almost immediately.

With this pacing, even if this were serialized, I imagine it would only be like 10 chapters long with some extra scenes packed in so that we're shown instead of told details. Even then, the final product might not measure up to this oneshot.

Anyways, this was well done enough that if someone told me this author wrote something else, I'd be interested in checking it out.

Solid showing here. Def an entry in the "Good" camp of this anthology series! Characterization was particularly strong.

This was a pretty good one shot. He didn’t totally transform after losing weight, unlike some stories. I also like that he didn’t just instantly overcome all of his issues once she started helping. Even at the end, he’s still stuttering and writing his words. That was kind of nice in a way too.
It helped as well that she wasn't insulting him for his weight. I feel like a lot of these weight loss journey stories often include a heavy dose of shaming the person for being bigger when it's pretty clear from his backstory that people other than the professor who loved having a captive audience to listen to his lectures, weren't really looking out for him.

He felt ashamed of himself for his disability and perceived failure as a person and royal so it spiralled from there BC his family didn't seem to get him help, really of any kind. Not for his stutter (which as we've seen has a very simple work around), his self confidence, his social isolation due to his disability, his behaviour or his diet.

Rachel being able to be happy with him does make me smile though, I hope she reunited the knight and the count's daughter.

And he didn't magically grow into a 6 ft adonis upon eating better and exercising which makes me relieved. I think you can tell when an author has actually been or been around bigger folks BC they know that losing weight doesn't alter the entire look of your body and height lol.

Wouldn't the king come to find out she was a commoner with not an ounce of noble blood? Surely he wouldn't accept that... Just as much as that Noble didn't accept his daughter screwing with a knight
Maybe the king doesn’t really care about the 2nd prince? The royal family isn’t really mentioned so they probably gave up on him and just leave him alone to do his own thing since he had no interest in the crown. If the 2nd prince has a child with a commoner then they don’t have to worry about his kid having a claim to the throne since they would have “commoner’s blood” within them maybe?

Why was the count suddenly thinking he'd be ruined? Everything should have been going decently for him as well. Was it just because he didn't have his hostages anymore and suspected Rachel to spill the truth (which would have certainly spelled the end for her as well under normal circumstances)?
Yeah, he is overthinking type and he ruin himself at this point.

Blame the noble who try planning for the disguise. I mean Rachel's freedom being robbed, thanks to that noble agenda. Even though it become another turning point of fate. Regardless, you can see Damian become cunning too, and acknowledge the Rachel scheming

THEY COOKED WITH GAS.

Sure was it long? Yeah. But it was all worth it and had a a solid story arc for a one shot that has to cover so much. Best chapter in a good while imo.

I quite like this one, but I wish it was a more complete story. Also would like to know what happened from people in her prior life. Also, guess she is in a different word from her own?

I'd say trying to deceive a royal order by pulling a bait and switch would be enough to piss off the King/Royal family. Even if the 2nd prince is seen as useless. Its one thing banging a commoner maid and siring royal bastards.

However, this is supposed to be a marriage between a royal and noble. The fact the noble girl no longer had her chastity alone would be enough to piss off the royal family and op top of that count tried to pass off a commoner as a noble.

She got the father of truck-kun isekai style lol.
No villainess to be found here in this life; but this is very cute and soothing to me soul, so it's fine for me.
Even if you count the last life, she is still not a proper villainess...
