It's okay, he's about to become their bitch again anyway. It's basically a reverse revenge manga. Where the MC works for the abusive party, who ramps up their abuse, and get all the benefits while he gets shat on more and more.

On topic. Ya'll remember when Haise was kicked out for being D-Rank and they not only never trained him but actively sabotaged his training. Now they're taking in new D-Rank folks and training them. Suddenly that's fine. I guess because they don't see these as a threat for getting with Sasha.

If the manga is skipping the Sasha glazing then that means there is a chance, however microscopic, that maybe this time around Hyce won't be made to be the party bitch and she might actually face consequences for her actions. It is small, it's true, but it wouldn't be the first time a manga went "Y'know what, how about we don't do that" to the events of the LN and went in a different direction.
