I have this weird feeling that she isn't actually making any of them her kin, but is basically doing the same thing as Ruling girl Kubaru where they just let her decide their life which gives them such relaxation.

Yeah, I forgot about that until reminded a bit ago. It was such a write-off moment as she was actually cowed by Aihara, and since then everyone has been. Everyone else seems to just ignore Ruruna's will and wants, only acting once Aihara decides things.

I would say it does a bit more than that: it ties those emotions (or, more like fulfillment of a long held desire) to Runa.

I do wonder about Yura’s character outside the group.

During her arc, my impression is she’s one of those lone wolf type of character in this rich girl school.
But the teacher seems to imply she’s popular (or maybe she doesn’t know and just project her old classmates).
So, I actually love her rather savage interaction to Ruruna the most among them so far.

What Ruruna said is actually, from the fact that she bit Yura anyway, that rule already goes to the drain.
Yura is offended because it does imply Ruruna put her in the not beautiful category.

yep. Wakana's the one running the show, the "power behind the throne" as it were.
I do think she's down bad for Ruruna, so I don't suspect her of straight up manipulating our hapless protagonist.
But she also absolutely wants to see Ruruna as the Queen of All, and I'm betting a part of that is due to the fact that Wakana would be at least second in command, if not Head Bitch In Charge since it seems Ruruna isn't all that interested in actually running things in a logistical manner and would rather simply have a pretty throne and pretty woman around her.

Really Wakana's wish fulfillment is the name of the game. Cute/Hot Vampire Master for sexy times, but then also de facto control over the harem and all matters Ruruna doesn't want to bother with that actually involve power and gain.
