As some have said, I wonder when the charade will be over (and hope that fade out will lead to her at least start connecting the dots) cause at this point, c'mon now.

But like the majority, I agree this was a well-written mini-arc. Didn't feel overly dramatic despite very real stakes at hand, we got to see Reina interact with another character (semi)-professionally, Ishizumi showed her support without feeling like a white knight and we still got Drunk Reina but it wasn't the usual exaggerated stuff and we got a tender moment between her and "Izumi".

Honestly, I hope they just change the shift and she realize soon or he decided to tell her. It's totally doable without ending the story

because that's a warm face im guessing ishizumi ain't gonna be making that face in a while since he's usually so cold but once he does when she's sober, she's gonna recognize it and things are gonna happen
i just read the title of the chapter, this is definitely the case. "boss and the sleeping face" despite there being no mention in dialog and only one page where this concept in emphasized. something def gonna happen soon.
