I audibly gasped at page 11.

Something about the artwork for this manga is just so soft and breathy, and when their eyes are so dark they become extra expressive and it really just elevates the emotional moments to a whope new degree.

Also I guess I might have been right about Kaede's friend simply being that "protective bestie" in her being cruel to Moko-chan before. Still not my favorite type of person depicted in these, but I'd rather that than some dumb triangle rival.

Moko-chan knows who's hers, though. And Kaede's gotta be over the moon about it.

It's just so good. Wow, the emotional maturing being done, and the emotional maturity being shown, in this manga are really great to read. Kaede wanting the best for moko even when sending her off like that literally has her bawling she still does it because she cares more about moko's happiness than her own. It's just so damn adorable and heart-warming.

What an excellent chapter of tackling one's own feelings as well as facing another's. It's a soft love that the art style really fits, and it makes me smile endlessly. I love how Moko faced the past struggles with Shiori and then faced her current struggles with Kaede. What a beautiful love.
