There is a reason there is still a private health insurance industry in countries like Japan & the UK.

Japanese spend nearly twice as long in commutes as Americans, you can get anywhere by train but its very rare you can to where you are going with just one train. You can look up "Rush Hour Tokyo Train" for how great their public transportation system for 'bringing people together'.
You can only get that in a society where a) When a train hits a person, the train schedule is prioritized over accident investigation and b) everyone is on the same page where you don't just stab other passengers in the neck.

I think the author would have an easier time building up savings if she would stop blowing her budget buying fingerprint kits to hand out to fictional characters.

I wonder how many mangaka are 'wealthy' or just 'nepo babies' and doing this as a hobby or so and not worrying about profit lol

Maybe it feels different because if a narrator asks which character will win the fight in the next episode, that question has an answer, whereas when this mangaka asks why a plot point happened, it makes people think about how the writing is kinda bad.

Now to be fair, the author does claim that she's writing about something that really happened to a "friend", and reality is often narratively unsatisfying. But it's not likely that the author had psychic powers to listen to Rei's cringe internal dialogue, so there are still some parts that are the author's responsibility.

I love the author's little notes at the end, they're always like "I wish I could save so much so quickly" or "I wonder what all these women saw in Rei-kun to want to cheat with him" and I'm just like you wrote the story lmao

i imagine the author wouldn't go far enough to cheat themselves (hopefully) but i'm sure ppl can write 'douchey' charas even if they haven't encountered any personally, like how women artists write/draw bl that can be nuanced/ don't come off as fujo bait/fetishy but that's a whole nother can of worms lol

To be a cheater is to not be able think of long-term consequences. These kinds of people do not understand that what's good now does not mean it will remain such, or that they can suffer the same fate they impose on other people.

Cheaters are paranoid about being cheated on because they genuinely cannot fathom the pain and suffering they would undergo. They believe they deserve all the benefits but none of the consequences.

They understand and this the why they are so afraid. My problem is, if they releasonship in the point where they are both cheating, why don't just break-up? Why stay in a releasonship with a person you don't love or care?

And if you get sick without health insurance they won’t let you die in the street like a dog.

And public transportation is great so you don’t need a car payment, car insurance, gas, etc.

Oh summer child, my country has public health system and public transportation, anyone with much money pay a private medical care and buy a car.

You still die like a indigent with public health system, because the governament buy cheap medicament or you need wait for six months to do a crucial exam. People here don't die here because they can't afford the doctor, they die because the hospital don't have struture to cure a simple healthstroke.

Is good just pay a third of will pay in gasoline to travel? Yes, but the travel time will be three times longer. I use public transport since i was a child, sometimes need go out of my house three hour before any event just to take the bus to do a travel wich will last for just fourty minutes in a fucking car, and a live in a city wich the public transport is relatively "speedy".
