Compromise: a dog-like cat. Or at least one chungus that loves belly rubs.

It’s a slice of life romcom, not drama. Every chapter is filler.
No, this is no slice of life and that genre is not "filler" either.
For a country suffering from low birth rates, this "cuck" relationship theme is a bit of a surprise and actually tiresome. When you literally have other manga and anime that revolve around government programs encouraging marriage and starting family it seems regressive. Tbh, If they don't consummate in a few more chapters I'll probably drop this manga.
I already spoiled myself, they haven't done anything AS A MARRIED COUPLE. They're characters that are basically on their 30s or late 20s and they behave like they're 10yo and somehow married. I can't stand this.

this entirely depends on your lifestyle. if you have more time you can get a dog because on average cats are less maintenance

I'm impressed that she had no shame about the cat-speak. Manga characters are usually embarrassed 3 words in if they don't normally speak that way.

I have a theory on what's going to happen and what will be revealed.

I actually think this would be a fascinating plot twist, though it doesn't seem likely.
I'd more likely guess they used the feathers to create get their respective agencies to simply shut down. Even if I'd love to see the drama of your theory.

Cats are usually less problematic.
Cats don’t make lots of noise, as compared to dogs barking. The couple live in apartment, which means stress from having to deal with neighbours’ complaining.
Cats are also usually too small to pounce people, and their jaws are not big enough to fit a child’s limbs or head, which means less risk of getting sued for keeping dangerous pet when neighbour’s kid got injured.

Who cares? Bye!
Readers who actually drop a series just do so silently.
Those who need to have their dissatisfaction be announced to the world are usually hate reading and will still be here to complain when the new chapters are posted :D

On that one...
They both killed the source of the feathers.

The organisations want to gather feathers to fulfil wish. But with the source killed, there will be no more new feathers appearing in this world, thus they have lost their purpose. So they are disbanded. It ends as anticlimactic as an outdoor music festival cancelled by typhoon warning at the worst schedule.

Their romance story actually starts when they met again years later, after they’re trying to reintegrate themselves back to society.

We don’t have the details because the author got too much episodes to tell (present day married life, their past as enemies, quick briefing readers about the supernatural power lore), so the courting is told in volume 2 of the LN.

And it's explained why they sleep in separeted rooms?

My memory might be wrong, but there’s comment in previous chapters’ thread about how it’s not that uncommon, so the husband and wife can still have their private space at home. They can just sleep together when they want to.

Obviously the luxury will need to be sacrificed if they have kids growing up, and there’s no more room to spare.

Now, I understand that you may not have wanted to spoil yourself, but I believe there were spoilers for why they’re like this in the comment sections of previous chapters, and after reading them I can safely say the situation is actually entirely reasonable.
