Damn. if that he says is true.. it means someone in the past did kidnap him and misused his powers. Poor guy when he finds out. and he got a very british name too.

battlefield? i doubt that. you will NEED to get to the island first to even start a battle.. and i doubt that out friends here will allow that.

With that kinda revelation, i'm glad it's the 2nd chapter of a volume and not at the end, that would be a major cliffhanger.

I kinda forgot all the god stuff from years ago but is this implying that he created all the gods?
Or.. just maybe or... that the "gods" that they all worship are not actually gods, but something else? means can be mutable, add/remove/edit kinda thing..

So I guess the only question left is if the church is evil, or if the 13 "blessed ones" (currently known Gods) are the evil ones.

If it's just the church I can see this wrapping up in a couple of arcs maybe, but if it's the latter this will probably get much bigger. Lol

as always, the temple faction acts evil, and witch sealed onisland is definitely good :meguu: island gonna become battlefield > witch is sealed inside giant tree > the temple breaks the seal > rukia will be killed > then they plan to kill the rampaging witch (even though she was already sealed, so why free her in the first place?)

only the gods blessed by the church, so pretty much all the evil gods are actually the true gods
probably the same happens with the sister blessings, but they are recognized only because they use them as sacrifice to freeze Farley, and they do that to keep the 13 gods blessing to exist.

Mmh....so the 13 gods/blessed ones (now we know they are fake gods) are what the church is founded on/ founded the church? And they keep this man froze in time so he can't create anymore fake gods? And killing the witch/es who is/are "blessed" by the true god must disappear, so to cement the church power?

Well, whatever it is....a church going power hungry and evil is not a new concept...if I had 1 $/€/£ for every time this trope is used, I'd have a decent sum...

P.04 : "like a person of justice" -> not 100% on what you're going for here, is he implying Kai is a just person or that his own ability to judge is similar to a "person of justice"?
P.05 : "To be honest, I don't even know its name." -> either "[...] even I don't know its name" or "[...] I don't know its name either"
P.06 :
  • "Why fear of god whose name [...]" -> "Why fear a god whose name [...]"
  • "...they oppose [...]" -> "...they opposed"
P.09 : "Hi lost my temper [...]" -> "I lost my temper [...]"
P.13 : "Alright on the winged-folk swing [...]" -> presumably "A ride on the winged-folk swing [...]"?
P.14 : "[...] to take revenge of Bie?" -> "[...] to take revenge on Bie?"
P.17 :
  • top left bubble has an unerased character
  • "[...] there's a place in the island [...]" -> "[...] there's a place on the island [...]"
P.20 :
  • "We're talking about someone who is blessed of Aramira." -> presumably "[...] blessed by Aramira."
  • same bubble "A person who is kept secret [...]" -> "A person who was kept secret [...]"

There's a possibility that the original gods were evil and the church took control from them for humanity's sake, but I think its more likely they just wanted power. Honestly, the guy they kidnapped probably doesnt know this and is gonna have a pretty big reaction to finding out.

If the "witch" is church's enemy then, getting her to their side would be the best :unsure:
I guessed before that the witch was his daughter and I think that would make sense here, though she's probably gone crazy by this point

so why free her in the first place?)
pope said that keeping her sealed was expensive.

My guess is true gods' blessing have always been few are far between. Arthur then used his ability to create an imaginary pantheon and dispensed blessing (more abundant but less potent) to many more people -- after all, there's no need to explain it to many nations if it's not a global phenomenon. But some folks saw it as an opportunity to have "gods" whom they can control, so they kidnapped and locked him up, using his ability as the foundation to form a new society where the church has total domination.
