Oh this one was great!! Solid plot to wrap up, an MC who actually did work on herself to save her own life... and turning down the prince who easily went along with fake evidence? Very well done, he's obviously the kind that would turncoat on her again somewhere down the line.

Oh, so she's still in love with the handsome first prince who didn't blink twice as he was sending her to the gallows? Well fuck this story too!

...Or so I thought up until the end twist. I mean, it kinda comes out of nowhere for my liking, but it is much better than the ending I was anticipating. Out of all of the terrible stories in this anthology so far, this one is a certified "not bad"

This story was not about the usual changing/avoiding events using hindsight, but about finding clues and confidence.
It also reminds me of those 'can you solve the mystery' comics, where readers have to pay attention to details hidden in plain sight like different number of petals or different gloves to find the culprit - I was never good at these.
