I wasn't expecting Cross would have be crossdressing in my BINGO card. I do find it funny that throughout his dance training, we got to see the POVs of all his companions & teachers. Only a matter of time before they find him & let's hope the world isn't destroyed in the process. Thanks for the translations.

Lowkey noticed it since the training segment but yeah, with ballroom dances it's difficult for the follower to train the leader if they're not an expert at following (because followers depend entirely on the leader's cues to move, basically making the leader also the choreographer in social dances), but it's somewhat simpler for the leader to train the follower as long as the follower understands the basics correctly (because a good lead could make the follower feel exactly what the leader wants the follower to do).

If she wanted to drill good moves into Cross in two weeks, it would be much more doable for her to train Cross to be a follower than a leader, lol.

given what the trio will do when they get their hands on her, this dance/crossdressing segment feels more like I'm reading the cat girl's make-a-wish before her untimely demise.
She seems to be on their level, and her interest is the same so more like she will be a 4th teacher.
Lets be real for a sec, they are training him to be stronger than them, they want him to be dominate, there is no chance they get to monopolize him if they get him to where they want him. There goal, even if they don't realize it themselves is to be in a harem, so I doubt she will suffer really, she clearly can escape them no problem.

yeah - the Original Three and the Thief are basically the "unstoppable force / immovable object" paradox, as Seras is basically them, just as a Stealth Build, rather than Strength / Magic.

If the Trio can't best one another, they're not besting Seras, either. Especially since I suspect Seras has a cool enough head on her shoulders to know what to say mid-fight to taunt the Trio into infighting, as well (they do that well enough on their own as it is).

Seras will simply become Cross's fourth teacher, doubly so once the Trio sees what Cross is now capable of (I'm betting they'll stumble into this ball/oncoming fight with all these Underground people, and they'll get a front-row seat to what Seras has trained Cross to be able to do).

And however it happens, they'll ultimately be convinced by Cross that Seras isn't bad, that she'll make an effective teacher along an axis of growth that the Trio can't give Cross, and that they'll have to play nice to whatever effect.

I wonder what Cross could learn from another highly skilled student who learned from a master.

"I don't have to win. I just have to kill him."

Speaking of, we haven't seen an archer or gunner yet.
a Ranged martial fighter kinda feels like it falls squarely between our Thief & our Melee Frontliner, to me.
I could see a dedicated "class" around bows and/or firearms coming out of the woodwork, though I don't know where they would have been hiding in the world up to this point that there's zero mention of that level of adventurer or individual going around.

An archer could just be a 1000 year old elven ranger recluse that sits in a massive continent-spanning forest in solitude, but someone using firearms seems incapable of staying hidden and an unknown quantity, given the inherent destructive (and loud) nature of any sort of gunpowder/ballistics-based weapon like that. Having a person be an S-class of that sort of magnitude on the level of these 4, gives me the mental image of a single individual carrying around the firepower of a modern-era industrialized nation's military, which....doesn't seem like someone who'd just "suddenly appear" on the scene with no hints up to now, like second-hand knowledge of them doesn't exist all over the place.

So if we do get a 5th teacher, I would lean toward Archer more than someone using guns of any variety, I think - and I suspect it would have to come off the back of some story arc that sees them traveling overseas.

This training through dancing reminds me that the current Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk is a great dancer as well, and uses his magnificent footwork to dismantle his elite opponents. It's fun to see a manga that does skill level progression through believable irl means.
