His father is just absent all the time.Who arranged the engagement for him if his parents/guardian figures are all dead or missing?
I'm willing to let it go for now since he's made it known (at least to Sebas, who is trusted by the servants, and has possibly passed word to others off-screen) that he knew all the executions he ordered weren't being performed.Author trying really hard to exonerate the protagonist from ordering the deaths of many servants. Except in the eyes of everyone else, he did order all of these.
I guess it's okay now that he's nice and training hard. 🤷♂️
ngl tho when I read that part I realized that is gonna be really hard to recover from. And then the author just up and thrown it away anyway. Seriously, might as well just made him a typical scumbag noble, and had the assassin guy using a different reason. Honestly bad writing part. I am generous, so I will let it slide, but a lot of people will have a problem with that.Author trying really hard to exonerate the protagonist from ordering the deaths of many servants. Except in the eyes of everyone else, he did order all of these.
