Old granny predictably transforms into hot babe.

KittyBlue9: "Alright, I'm convinced. This series went somewhere. I'll officially pick it up."

Yes, for the plot! Woohoo! :D

Honestly, I am almost surprised it took us even 4 chapters to get here.

Huh, it says that it cures any curses or magical effects but if she was cursed by something wouldn't it have shown up in his appraisal skill? Obviously she's been cursed for a while since she caused the explosion trying to make it herself, so unless they are literally just calling old age a curse it's a bit of an odd way to make her young again.

Either that or they'll pull the ol' "skill too low" to identify that she was cursed.

So she was afflicted by the curse known as time... :shamihuh:

Anyway, they seem to brush over the fact that she caused an accident that destroyed and killed an entire town - does it really matter that she was trying to cure her own curse?

I was wondering why an Elf at a mere 318 years old would look so old, and I was about to dismiss it as the author just making Elves that way in this story, but she was pretty desperate to go back into a dungeon. Figures this was the case.

I hadn't initially read its appraisal screen, so was a bit bothered when he dumped it with a "what if it needs to be drunk?", and still slightly annoyed after going back and reading the screen; "sprinkled all over", to what degree does it need to be spread, etc; he just dumped it on her head, which depending on how accurate the instructions were, could have failed.
