the novel only have 41 chapters but it ended half-assed. i hope the author go beyond the first arc (assuming that 41 novel chapters is the first arc) and focus on the progress of the MC and WMC(s) relationship.

The thing with this is, the wn basically ends with the first major arc. And by ends i mean the author drops it, it’s weird that it’s getting a manga, maybe they plan to continue it past the events in the wn?

Yeah, I thought the premise sounded interesting and that the novel was "complete". So I gave it a read only to think "this was just the first arc and nothing major was actually resolved? Why did this get a manga adaption?"

There are a couple manga that do inevitably go past the WN due to it being on hiatus or author dropping it midway manga being made, we can only hope honestly, and I do want it to continue at least to see what they come up with

Al is the incredibly frustrating kind of protagonist who just pushes forward assuming that the source material of whatever they incarnate into will remain exactly as they remember it, always and forever. So they just constantly obsesses over it like they can't change it at all, despite constantly changing everything around them all of the time.

Man I hate harem when they add in some emotional connection with the MC. It makes me feel, “aw man give her a chance,” but then they do this for multiple girls. A lot of times, these harem plot is just romance bait. You get a bunch of romantic endeavours with multiple characters without committing, and then it ends without a single girl. One where the final panel shows everyone and the girls who like him, and perhaps some friends. Or it may end with just one girl, yet that doesn’t mean the other girls will back down. I rarely see a manga that actually concludes with the harem properly.

It’s just, “playboy but he is dense despite getting to do things as if they’re dating so it doesn’t count as being a scumbag.”

Honestly, the harem trope isn’t even an actual harem, it is so repetitive. That I actually think a proper harem ending would be more refreshing.
