Mintz having that "could it be that she.... ...no, I still can't tell for sure." makes me think that he might be an Isekai'd person as well.

Which, if that's one Capture Target in addition to the Villainess, then having multiple of them all be reincarnators would be interesting.
Given this doesn't have the Girls' Love tag, I'm assuming Yuri's not on the table (subject to change as the story progresses).



BUT....what if all the (male) capture targets are also genderswapped reincarnators?
Except the Prince I guess, but one chapter isn't necessarily confirmation since it could just be a reincarnator committing to the bit to blend in, or something.

Hoping this has a novel twist, basically.

I don’t know why MCs always think that way, but I do think it’s fair to point out that many authors force the issue by either having a competing reincarnator take over the Heroine or just having the world force the game/manga/light novel’s plot forward at all costs.

Oooh good theories. But also I had the impression of Mintz’s line being that he thought something along the lines of, “Oh, she helped a commoner. Could it be that she’s changed…?? No…it’s too soon to tell.” Like he thinks MC could be plotting smth or just having bad intentions in general. Also how they probably knew MC before the personality switch and hence the pause when MC answered, “…to help people.” And stuff, like, “Wait a minute, didn’t you use to do the OPPOSITE of that though??”
