This feels very similar to "My next life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom"
But a genderswapped version, I guess. Not that that’s bad ofc. Love that manga/anime. Reminds me about that one filler or OVA episode where they genderbent the characters, lol.
Why do all these MCs believe that the original story will keep going despite there already being so many small changes that you'd have trouble counting them all.
It's a trope at this point "MC will ignore facts to believe in faulty future knowledge".
Feels like a take on the dense isekai protagonist, ngl. Just with Otome games, lol.
Mintz having that "could it be that she.... ...no, I still can't tell for sure." makes me think that he might be an Isekai'd person as well.
Which, if that's one Capture Target in addition to the Villainess, then having multiple of them all be reincarnators would be interesting.
Given this doesn't have the Girls' Love tag, I'm assuming Yuri's not on the table (subject to change as the story progresses).
BUT....what if all the (male) capture targets are also genderswapped reincarnators?
Except the Prince I guess, but one chapter isn't necessarily confirmation since it could just be a reincarnator committing to the bit to blend in, or something.
Hoping this has a novel twist, basically.
Oooh good theories. But also I had the impression of Mintz’s line being that he thought something along the lines of, “Oh, she helped a commoner. Could it be that she’s changed…?? No…it’s too soon to tell.” Like he thinks MC could be plotting smth or just having bad intentions in general. Also how they probably knew MC before the personality switch and hence the pause when MC answered, “…to help people.” And stuff, like, “Wait a minute, didn’t you use to do the OPPOSITE of that though??”
I'm sorry but a redhead with violet eyes? Who the hell went and made the villainess unbeatably attractive?
That description you used…come to think of it, reminds me of another Otome game isekai protagonist with those features that also has an anime. Can’t recall the name, but yk what I mean probably if you’ve looked around the genre enough lol.
Every time I see a villainess manga and see the protagonist and the former heroine interacting, I want yuri. I'm a greedy soul.
Yess more Yuri for the insatiable furnace
Guess a lot of people are greedy with this one, lol. Honestly neutral, but leaning more towards this outcome being the case, yeah.
