probably a little of both, he wanted a sex doll of his favorite idol he also wanted it to be as "human" as it could getI am hoping that the old guy was exactly as it appears - an idol fanatic who ordered a sex doll of his object of obsession. I am really hoping it isn't one of those cliche developments where he is actually a benevolent dude wanted her to find her humanity or whatever
I'm not sure what's up with the chapter titles for this series, TBH. Maybe they're references I'm not getting? They usually seem to bear little to no relation to what actually happens in the chapter.you can't just bait me with that title, I thought my prediction of 50 page sex scene was going to come true...
Yeah, you can tell the mangaka adores sci-fi.Assimov reference makes sense, ya got 2001 Space Odssyey talking monolith and their subject is Star Treks prime directive when handling first contact wit an alien species lol.
The reveal at the end seems really interesting...
Check the TL notes! On page 2 psychehistory should probably be psychohistory. Psychohistory being another Asimov reference from the foundation novels.
That question is the core of this manga’s plot. That and the tension that will arise as the MC forms an emotional connection with the robot. Aoi (the robot) is illegal both on earth as a sex bot and in space as a self aware computer. Is the sexdroid self aware...?
Sorry! Great translation, I was expecting it to be in katakana!Check the TL notes!
Don't read it, then. The author is practically telling you that he doesn't intend for an actual romantic relationship. That author page is odd to me. When I'm reading a yuri manga that doesn't have an explicit relationship like this one, I'm not judging it based on how "precious" it is, I'm judging it based on whether they actually end up kissing or not. Maybe it's a cultural difference, Japanese yuri fans seem big into the "preciousness" thing, but I would be annoyed if this manga I started reading because it was labeled "girl's love" turned out to just be yuri bait, even if the author's thinking something like, "Blame the publisher, I never intended them to be lesbians, this is just a fun story about an alien and a robot being real close gal pals!"
