I was wondering that last chapter, but it would be strange if she didn’t recognize otaku considering she had feelings for him. Admittedly the actor and otaku look VERY similar, but I do think they are separate characters.

If they are the same it can be explained away that she just wasn’t paying attention to the actor because she was so hung up on otaku.

Also, did we get LEGIT confirmation that otaku and that other girl are dating. Sure, we saw what we think is the confession from FMC‘s perspective AND they walked home together a few chapters ago, but none of that actually means they are dating.
