I'll really never understand anime adaptation decisions. This story is okay, but like...that's about it? I'm not mad it's getting one, but there are so many better options.

I think it’s a matter of niche. Action anime are the most popular. But if only action anime were released, it would be hard to get a return on investment, because for your anime to stand out among a bunch of action anime, it would need to be something very unique and of very high quality. So it ends up being safer for some producers to bet on less popular niches, but ones that will stand out precisely because they’re niches with fewer anime. And there’s an anime niche that I like that consists of shows you don’t need to think about to watch. This manga is a good example of that. A dumb story, but with a bunch of hot women. Just that already makes me happy. I can read this manga without having to think about complex plots.
