Is this manga still ongoing? I swear I saw somewhere that this manga had been axed(or more explicitly, that it was about to get axed!)..guess I was wrong! Edit: according to manga mogura this manga was supposed to end with the third volume back in 2021!! but somehow it's still ongoing(?) . second Edit** i don't speak Japanese but according to the author on Twitter. the manga got axed(?) but the author resumed the serialization due to the reader's support(This sounds a bit contradictory because in the first place, a manga gets axed when it isn't well received (low popularity) but in this case, it resumed its serialization due to the reader's support)!!!

according to the raw link on the mangadex page the last chapter released on 25.Sept.23 (C32 Part1), C32 part 2 releases on 09.Oct.23

so the translation is a bit behind currently.

Sorry to burst your bubble; but Shindo L became like argubly the most (in)famous modern Hentai Mangaka because of his story Metamorphosis - it even has its own Wikipedia page, my dude.

You can argue that even normies might know of him cause of that infamous story. Most definitely everyone who's a fan of manga and anime knows of Shindo L - chances are they're lying or underage B& otherwise.

I'm not here to give it all praises though. There are just too many characters in my opinion. Dou and Jahy are characters I have no complaints about but a lot of the side characters are just... meh.

It's most likely because they don't get enough screentime. Sadie and her sister? That hero? The mermaid? Most of the archangels? They kinda just appear for a bit and then just becomes completely irrelevant.

I would still recommend it but I would have to warn people that the pacing is VERY FAST.

I cannot recommend this enough. Easily one of the most pure and sweet mangas that's ever been put on paper.
The world is a better place for this story existing and you will be a happier healthier person for reading it, I guarantee it.
