but this meeting moment just feels like the story try to "blame" Makoto for not noticing Ilum state/condition when Makoto actually meet Ilum face to face, I just dont like this added part n feels it a bit unnecessasy...

it underscores Makoto's flaws in a way that actually impacts him instead of everyone just tiptoeing around the issue. I think it's a good addition to support a fairly meh drug plot.

It at least shows that separate from the language issue, dude also inherently doesn't care much for communication.

That is not a change and was always the case.
Illum takes the drug because of Kuzonoha's actions then a series of coincidences and Makoto's neglect due to "not my problem" attitude that leads to everything.

I actually find it quite refreshing :/
It feels like a proper isekai story that MC just kinda does whatever he wants and not in a rush to do certain things to fit the narrative/arc/plot. All while that is the plot regardless.

Tho at this rate, the story would never end lol.

Funny that just today I had that exact kind of milkshake, except that I didn't use syrup but 2 sugar teaspoons. Its delicious and very easy to make.

Recipe:
-200ml of milk
-2 bananas
-sugar (optional)

with that you get a 500ml milkshake, it makes for a pretty healthy breakfast.
