Watching him flail around trying to keep pretending he’s a dickhead, even though everyone’s figured out he’s actually the nicest person alive and they can easily tease that part out of him? Best show on Earth. She’s not saying it because she wants him to actually be toxic, she’s saying it because she knows he can’t be, and despite his best efforts, that’s his gimmick now.

To be fair, it's probably the best thing for his stream compared to his usual nice onii-san personality.
He is pretty good at the game but he's not good enough that he can rely on purely skill, and ultimately, skill based streamers will always be smaller than entertainers, and there's nothing particularly entertaining about someone who's just nice.
That might work if he was a girl, but at that point people are gonna be watching you in a more parasocial sense which comes with its own problems
Speaking of that, we will probably get to witness that firsthand since a cute girl streamer like Shirayuki interacting with another male could lead to a large decrease in viewership because guys are weird and want their female streamers to stay single
