I'm not sure I can keep going with this one after this chapter. It kind of hit way too close to home to actual toxic relationships...

Every step of development or progress towards better habits or relationship building is smothered in degradation and unhealthy enablements. Rena's actions probably did damage to Rihito's social integrity and will to spend time at home with family. Even if you want to love your family or cherish them due to being such, it's kind of hard to constantly stomach bold-face slander and insults from them all the time.

Like this is starting to get to 'Rent-A-Girlfriend' levels of toxic with the female cast, only Rihito's actually a decent guy.
I wouldn't be surprised if the poor dude just up and left for another country or something, if not worse if they keep this up.
This man is constantly being stalked, gaslighted, (sometimes sexually) harassed, somehow responsible for multiple people's mental problems now, a work junior, his own work and living expenses. At this rate that dude's stress is going to be the end of him one way or another...

Him clearly saying that he is being verbally abused and berated and doesn't like it kinda takes the whole thing past funny for me. Like if he just didn't sweat it and only found it mildly annoying sometimes that's fine, but him feeling like that and having to just take it makes it all kinda icky. And Mika just enabling and encouraging it for her own amusement makes me dislike her too

Thanks for the chapter. Rihito needs a new girl to show up who has a stable personality and has the same breed of dog as him. Then she abducts him to a faraway place so he doesn't have to worry about all these girls breathing down his neck 24/7 anymore. That's the only way he can enjoy his gaming, solitude, and pets in peace at this point.
