Lu Tze's Rule Number 1 needs an addendum for retired assassins as well.
Did it not occur to these freelance Millenials that one doesn't get to retire from being an assassin at a young age and be alive without incredible skills?
They're too young to be millenials, if I'm not mistaken.
If they
had been millenials, specifically ones active in the internet on the early 2000s, they would know the law of inverse ninja power. While a single ninja acting alone counts as a major threat, a group of ninjas is a footnote. The larger the group, the less likely they are to cause any sort of harm whatsoever. Assassins, naturally, count as ninjas. (It would be entirely a different story if they counted as pirates.)
