I'm wondering if Akita might be totally outgunned in the tournament now, even if this doesn't count as an elimination if he gets saved. He was good enough to beat the karate old man barely, but the field must be massively shrinking which is hugely limiting the time he has to improve, and Reiji is thrashing guys who would obliterate Akita like the boxer and a top MMA guy.
Like I reckon at least half of the existing contenders must be gone if Akita himself had the time to eliminate two people and Reiji has also eliminated at least two himself.

You'd think with the amount of times he's been jumped he'd be a bit more...wary of going out alone at night?

Biggest reason for a why the ending of this chapter is so frustrating. He has literally learned nothing from getting jumped on the street twice already. Three after this one.

A part of being a expert of “Violence” is knowing the best ways to avoid or redirect it in every day life. I’m not asking for genius level plays but now that he knows he is known.

- he shouldn’t be going out without a disguise AND bike

- he needs to stick to crowded areas to blend in

- skip school until the tournament ends to train up and avoid getting jumped in an enclosed space

He was established as the smart logical guy at the start of the story, so I don’t see why he’s not acting on it
