Since now we are full Baki logic, with less nuclear mania and creativity, and I'm loving it, I can say that the only way this could be better, was if it was a bit more Megami no Sprinter or Rin x Mama and less shounen-like tease. But hey, maybe thats not the story for this anyhow.
