Terimakasih untuk translasi-nya!
Beneran deh series ini bagus sih, ceritanya udah fix dan konfliknya sih dah selesai dalam 1 chapter kalopun dipake one-shot tapi asiknya ini dipake pov tiap karakter jadi character development atau sifat karakter-karakternya Kita bisa tau juga jalan pikirannya mereka.

I suppose this "santa" is meant to be "saint", no?
Yeah it kinda ruining the immersion when people know it's saint but this chapter "santa" instead
Wait, why is this confusing? Have you guys never heard that a woman saint is "Santa" and a man saint is "Santo"? E.g "Santa Maria" or "Santo Antonio", etc. Spanish and Portuguese also use these terms.

its just due to perception cognition can be differ based on people, nation and community.
or maybe they dont really uses the said words in daily conversation even though they know the language.
its just common things, when you are bilingual.

if its came from indonesian themself, they just dont know the words existed in their vocabs as loan words. theres also some people who believe if the word doesnt have dedicated translated word, then it would be read/written as it is.

but in this case, "santa" and "santo" used by this chapter is loan words from Portuguese. not usual loan words from english like most translated works.

its really not that deep, but its may feel complicated for some.
