Do they see the spirits differently?! Why? Rom sees them the same way as Miko though? Is the guy's spiritual awareness faulty?

Interesting to see that François started out pretty normal looking.
Maybe ghosts here work the same way they do in Kaya-chan where the longer they stay in the mortal realm, the more their form gets dark and twisted. Then again, maybe it's a difference in perspective. We learned from Romm in an earlier chapter that spiritually sensitive people see ghosts differently. Maybe the dad sees François as a just a regular dog while Mieruko sees him as a man-beast-horse.

I think the old medium dude mentioned that none of them see that spirit the same way, and Rom was scared shitless of it.

nah, i think the ghost hide his true form, that why it's so inconsistent, but it's interesting to see that for a strong male medium, the ghost appear as a female ghost, but for a female medium it's appear as a male ghost, it's seem to be a shinigami because death is genderless.

and françois protected the family for so long long he became the protector of the family. good boys.
