It's annoying when male characters are forced into certain situations or downright assaulted and it's treated as some sort of reward. Well at the very least he isn't getting beat up by the FL for the sake of some cheap humour.

This is still the beginning and he already showed assertiveness in multiple situations, unlike certain MCs who, like you said, have nothing other than the running gag of constantly getting beat up or shat on by the FL as a personality. Hopefully Oogami doesn't regress into that kind of dude.

But seriously how hard is it to shove off a female when they suddenly decide to mount you? Most mc just accept their fate. Sometimes I wish they'd say something along the lines off "step off, bitch". Imagine how it'd be portrayed when the genders were reversed. A guy suddenly pushing a female down and suddenly kissing her? Definitely an offender. But here? Oh, she crazy lol. I just don't get it. Maybe I'm self inserting here and many people would enjoy being dominated WITHOUT consent.

Seri is just as inexperienced as Oogami in all of this and has been putting up a front, but this is only four chapters in and the dynamic between them is still being established. Oogami has already "shoved Seri off" already before, so I don't know why you're acting like Seri is dominating Oogami or anything in this moment.
If you're mad about the characters this early in though, maybe this series just isn't for you.

Uh, no I like it actually. It's just the frustration had been piling up for quite a while. I'm not mad at the characters, I just crashing out at the trope. It's all chill now. My bad.
