Tbh, i knew from the start that this manga is gonna be bad. Literally every "antagonist" has a backstory for some reason.

Even the 3rd-rated evil goon in chapter 1 who bullied and harmed the sheep girl got to have a backstory when he died, seriously who even wanted to see that???

Then the random dragon girl who eats and kills everyone onsite also has a backstory even though the main characters (guy with evil eye and sheep girl) literally never interacts with any of them.

This manga suffer cause the author want to make everyone a 3-dimensional character even when they are mostly irrelevant to the story. What the point of trying to give every one a backstory when you are never gonna have them interact with the main characters?

The author probably doesn't understand and just trying to make everything in this manga more "perfect", more "detailed", more "complicated". If they could cut back on the unnecessary things and focus on a something else more interesting then it would have been a lot better.

Why the fuck people don't like backstory ? it mean context about what made people what they are. Do you prefer clown with no backstory who are evil because "duh" ?

anyways, would have liked some more chapters, but the ending is still correct for a axed manga.

it's not that i don't like backstory, but backstory without any build up or reward is not that interesting.

For example, at the start of the story, a minor "villain" who bullied the sheep girl suddenly get a flash back "explain" why they are acting bad. But their "backstory" happen 2 seconds before they died. Who really care about that, the bully didn't even do anything memorable in the story but bully the sheep girl and then die? Like seriously, it just take up drawing/reading time of the mc and the sheep girl fighting the cyclops for no reason.

Another example is the dragon girl who kill and eat everyone. All we got for her back ground at first is that she is dangerous and she like eating people, that's it. She never interact/talk with anyone, including the 2 mcs. Before she die, another flash back appear for no reason explain why she eats people and why everyone is scared of her. If the "flash back" is used as a build up to her maybe changing her ways or something that would have been enough. But she literally died 2 seconds later. Sure, i felt a bit sad for her because of the flash back but that's it. I don't know her real personality, how she lives, what she likes. And thanks to the author, i didn't need to, cause she died, the end of her story. Why should i think about a character that does nothing interesting and then immediately die as soon as they meet the mc?

The art being so pretty is already a factor in slowing down the release date, but including the irrelevant stuffs only gonna add even more time. The author didn't really put reader expectation on top and only add a bunch of stuffs that they think is cool.
