I hope your work situation balances out and you at least can have time for yourself. But thank you for continuing to do SL work.
Also - I actually quite like the in-world context around Explorers and how codified Dungeon-Diving is into the setting. International regulations around who can even become and Explorer, the monitoring of Explorers and how they interact with various aspects of society...all of that actually makes sense (even if it feels slippery-slope with the surveillance), given these are legitimately dangerous people walking around.
Some of the more coherent world-building I've seen in one of these titles, and I appreciate the author's effort in reasoning out what a world filled with literal magic and monsters would do to keep the peace.
I feel like Ruri's actions are not as bad as it's being made out to be, but she's also never had this many eyes on her, so maybe she really was smuggling Mats in an illegal fashion, and just got away with it by being effectively invisible? Though she's still a minor with high-value monster parts, so there's definitely another layer to this, because she'd either need a fence or a buyer who thinks she's an adult, or something.
Can't wait to see how she's been taking Mats and paying rent/tuition, given the valuation is way higher than it would appear she's bringing in, given she said before she's financially struggling.
