always wanted to try a JP style croquette even if it's just the konbini kind (shame the 711 here doesn't have anything but instant ramen tho i did see a recent 'jp style sandwich' with like kewpie mayo) , did try a korean one altho greasiness aside i did have to take out like some strong tasting mushroom but the glass noodles inside that was good
lol i wonder how many restaurants get told 'keep the change' considering JP doesn't have a tipping culture but hopefully it's split between the employees fairly if so versus a manager keeping it all
I mean, Tetsuo really likes Miko. The classic teenage boy can't be honest with the girl he likes. Even as adults, she's a big part of the reason why he keeps trying to improve his cooking even now despite having absolutely zero talent. I believe he's trying to get her to acknowledge his skill before he finds the courage to just confess already. Though he is a total dunce and the ship have might already left because of how long he's taking
i mean cooking is more of a 'skill' than than talent (even if some ppl might be 'naturally' better at it and innovative at unique flavors but i'd hope that hardwork would be good, altho i feel like his style of cooking might be appealing to her compared to the 'fancy' stuff the other chefs give her since he comes from a more humble background)
Amazing detail that school Tetsuto was shorter than Miko. That just reinforces the difference in class, the difference in talent, and the difference in maturity.
we haven't seen her cook yet surprisingly but while i'm sure she's also 'formally trained' and all that in regards to tasting and analyzing food, she's basically a nepo baby (considering she ran off crying and thinking to herself 'you dummy' one could argue she's not more mature, just better at hiding it compared to him who wears his heart on his sleeve)
