When it's in both moderation and suits the situation, it could be funny, but some users here really go all in on that.
It is quite easy comedy and I don't deny that it isn't funny. It's just that it also is harmful to the person making it. Repeating a phrase or statement often will in fact make your mind register that as something true, regardless of the facts. The emotional part of your brain is not one to one with the logical part of your brain, so it doesn't differentiate between it.
IMO, instead comedy should exaggerate positvity and self-affirming statements, as gaslighting yourself into being happy and fulfilled is just as possible as the self-gasighting into being a sad sack.
And in the first state, you are much more able of fixing, in case the inner critic of the readers chastises them because "you need to earn it" or some dumb stuff like that. You can earn it much better while not in a depressed hole.
