Huh? Where did you get that from? That’s not what Hebikawa is doing at all. She has this twisted worldview where she believes no one is truly a good person and that everyone has a “dark side.” But she can’t seem to find that “dark side” in Kusunoki, so her plan is to get close to Keisuke to bring it out. She’s just trying to confirm her worldview, that’s it. Sure, she’s catching feelings for Keisuke, but she’s acting with ill intent.

As much as I prefer Kusunoki I have to admit I'm also an Otobe appreciator.

She's got great rapport with Keisuke but is clearly running into an issue that I've seen tomboys struggle with IRL, in that they fit in so well as "one of da boyz" that their romantic interest is seldom returned.
