Are they somehow natural? Or even supernatural (monster/alien/etc)? Filed? Surgically replaced? Dentures? (if they were removable she wouldn't need the mask). Happened during a now regretful Chuunibyou phase?
Why? Or does it even matter? If it's only an impetus I'm okay with that too, but it almost begs to be answered in some manner as well.
