Just saw that the anime has gotten an OVA of sorts...
Seeing as how the manga was still more entertaining for the most part, more detailed AND prettier looking, I wanted to see if there had been ANY new chapters, but... Well...
Same as before. Like, literally, a whole freaking YEAR ago and it's still the same chapter that we're stuck on!!

I mean, I know drawing is hard and all, but a LOT of anime just ruin the heck out of almost any manga, manhua, or light/web novel they come across lately!! Most of them speedrunning the story, an/or using horrible 'art', or sometimes starting off well, but then halfway through: "Oops, we already used all of our budget! Well, I guess we'll give our kids some crayons and let them finish it. Oh, wait, poor birthrate! There are no children!! Okay, how about A.I. then??"
...
Anyway, this is already slop, n terms of the story, but it's fun slop!
I don't read isekai fantasies, because they are the best sotries in the world, I read them to distract myself from the horrors of the real world and this does a pretty good job, or DID a pretty good job at that...

Oh well.
It's not like I'm starved for choice, or anything.
New (isekai) slop is pumped out every day!

I always forget that this is a harem story, and whenever I remember that, I am saddened. Harems are a wish granted by a genie, a monkey's paw of a tag.

Anyways, the second half of this chapter (it's not split in the manga though? I don't know, publishers are weird) has MC save her in the nick of time, and then the princess and assassin + princess' retinue roll around and all three of the women meet. The "recognition standoff" happens on just about the last page of volume 7. There's more to it than that, of course, but that's the rough gist.

Based on the 8 chapters I read : this is slop, and bad one. Each chapter is dumber than the previous one, things "just happen". Ch8 : princess goes on a trek in a forest of death to maybe find the dude she is having a hard on. The army is incapable of defending her in there, but her father allows it anyway. So they all march to their death.
Conveniently MC, even though he was busy with new school semester in a new perfect school he just got invited in because in the previous chapter the girl he randombly saved in a parking lot happened to basically own it, decided to also deep dive the forest that same day.
Everything is just so random and convenient and doesnt add up nor make sense. "8/10" rating, the people who vote this as high must read somme garbage shit.
