It has been a few years since I last read this story, and I wonder if I'm mixing stuff up with a different novel, but remembering the after story, yeah, I think I remember things right.

Spoiler: Amy's power

Although Amy believes she is the Saintess, she actually got a different kinda of "blessing", or "curse" in this case. I remember that instead of becoming a saintess (seijou / Holy Woman), she became instead a witch (majou / Demon Woman), and I think it was related to Jealousy? Envy or Lust? It was something like that.

Spoiler: So is there any saintess?

Ana becomes the real Saintess, although I don't remember if she got to touch the holy staff and awakened to it, or if it was the sword Allen got her. She gains the attribute of Holy Ice. And with the Holy Ice, she can break people from the Witch's spell.
