I actually like this climax. Things are coming to ahead and emotions are exploding out. Let's go! It's also an interesting twist when the main pair is already dating. In real life standard case it's completely understandable for one's significant other to be uncomfortable with their partner spending time with someone of the opposite or same sex (someone that could be a romantic partner) alone and in this case the FL knows the other party is actively trying to pursue the MC romantically. It kinda goes back to her own insecurities. She doesn't need an excuse to stop a literal homewrecker from homewrecker, but also the excuse is effective. She's being more gung ho in their relationship while giving herself pretense.

I agree with the general consensus that the other woman should've, would've, and could've. Since you were a child isn't something to be proud of. It only means you were either too scared to be honest with your feelings for that long or too complacent thinking he'd never get into a serious relationship with anyone else. Regardless it's not an excuse to try and overturn his life now and center everything around yourself. I mean at this point you've just attacked his actual girlfriend for actually genuinely helping him edit and produce a better quality video (which is kinda funny and some serious shade from the female lead; kudos).

Do lowkey feel bad for her because she did genuinely enjoy Shiba's company (even if she did play up the tsundere act) and pretty much the only reason she rejected his confession was her mom forcing her to go overseas immediately post-graduation for her acting career but alas you snooze you lose.

Definitely the second one buddy. The girlfriends whole thing is that she's head over heels, but has her own insecurities about herself. If anything she seems to think of herself as lower than the MC. But those insecurities manifest like this (her seemingly insulting the MC), but actually the black textboxes it never sounds "that" bad and doesn't stand in the MCs way despite her seemingly thinking that if he improves as a person he'll abandon her.

Arguably the other girl sees him more as a posession. She's much more obsessed than anything. The MC already confessed to her and she turned him down to pursue her career. In her head she refers to him as her "per dog" (that's a lie she tells herself but it's still what she tells herself). Upon returning she expected him to still be alone and pathetic and immediately become infatuated with her. To her surprise the man moved on after being rejected, but him having a girlfriend wouldn't stop her.

Worse than that. I had to reread chapter 12: he confessed to her in high school and she rejected him to focus on her career without an explanation why (like she didn't say, "I love you too, but can we pause for now so I can go overseas and pursue my dreams." or something. She just rejected him.). Upon arriving she's still pinning for him, but she expected the MC to have just been pathetic and alone and infatuated with her still despite having been rejected. To her surprise he moved on and is with someone else which has led to her trying to replace the current girlfriend as his "first love"
