She just started to stay with him because of the Miyabi incident. You better remember Hizumi has extreme issues with abandonment and cheating (the hateful memories, her pondering if Shinba wouldn't cheat on her in the beach chapters had a suspiciously dark panel.

Shinba showed balls and decided to stick with Hizumi who, as much of a wicked sharp tongue she may have, she stood by his side and was able to bear with his cesspool of fatal flaws despite of him being a useless human abortion.

Ch9 - Flashback of how Shinba met Hizumi. She mentions about the closing down cinema holding bad memories as well as the good ones.
Ch10 (trip to the beach) - Hizumi pondering if Shinba would be the type of guy who would cheat on her, it had a very dark vibe. Considering the manga the author took inspiration from and is a big fan of, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
Ch11 (them sleeping on the same futon) Hizumi said something about hateful memories and then a flashback done as a movie frame with only a bubble text putting "Goodbye, Hizumi".

Only scattered evidence, but all of them point at her having serious issues with abandonment, infidelity and breakups.

Alright, I'll bite. Is there like a discord group for this translator "group" where they post updates? This is one of two manga that I am FIENDING to continue reading. Its a shame I found it a year ago and there have only been two chapters translated since I found it I wish more translating groups at least did some kind of updates on where the translations are at. I'm fine with there being delays, life happens, motivation is sparse and this is done for free so I totally get it. Some updates on where they are at or if its even being worked on for the sake of transparency would put a lot of people at ease.

I am also really curious how come there was 8 months of silence, only for them to rapid fire post 2 chapter updates right when someone else began posting translated chapters. It is super unlikely this was a coincidence, and if it wasnt a coincidence, why now of all times? Again, this is done for free and I do not wish to sound entitled. If a long break is needed, take a year off honestly. If that is needed then just let the people know. Being uncertain about whether or not the manga was dropped is just gonna make some people upset (Im not upset honestly, more just mildly annoyed and find the timing of posting the chapters to be fishy with the other groups post timing).
