Honestly I’m getting sick of the bit, there’s no reason for him to just be so passive it’s not like he was abused as a kid as far as we know. Even then he would be more cautious than he is now.

He is shocked by the situation, he got rejected by that girl (not Hizumi) but that same person kissed him.

I should've felt happy that their relationship might end well, but sometimes it feels so sad that her "twisted" words now is nothing more than a way to tease him, and he knows it. It becomes a routine that it's hard to feel emotionally manipulative her words toward him used to be.
