i really hope this gets picked up! the art in this is really cute and pretty. yamazaki puts a lot of detail into the design of the kimonos themselves and really loves them too (judging from her instagram). actually, i believe that some of momo (the mc)'s kimono design patterns have been added to actual kimonos in real life at a japanese fashion exhibition! i haven't looked much into it, but it's kinda cool seeing how much influence this manga had on actual real-life fashion.

I love the vibe and art of this manga, 8/10 for me right now! -1 because the romance suffers from the oblivious-other-lead-plus-misunderstandings trope that is dragging things out a little too much imo. Definitely too slice of life than romance right now for my taste but still very much worth reading.

The art is amazing and the vibe is so nice and calm. It would be awesome if someone were to pick up this manga and color it to bring the descriptions to life.

Oh yeah, the series ended at the end of December 2025 after chapter 88 in Paris. There is a colloboration with Silook Kimono’s Toray line that was recently referenced.
