When I wrote the teaser for this chapter last chapter, I just skimmed it fast (this is what I always do) and thought Akane and Toda were talking about Yotsutyu's ecology... nope! Next chapter is definitely about Kogane eating too well, though.

Maybe there are individuals among the spirit foxes, and others, who would really like to witness how a human-yokai couple works in practice. That's a partial reason for being impatient. Of course Kogane's parents simply want her to be happy and they need those grandchildren, but for others it might be exotic curiosity.

Man major respect for Toda for having such decent morals and understanding seems like a lot of characters mostly the human ones are being mature and responsible instead of the all powerful gods and yokai which is a very nice twist and refreshing take on the genre Akane seems to be the most perverted of them all lol

Well, it's probably because Akane's on a journey of cultivation, which as originally understood meant a lot of ascetic self-restraint. Being a wild fox (as opposed to the prim and proper Inari white foxes), she's probably super-frustrated by now.

One thing I really appreciate about this series is that Toda and Goro stand on their principles. Whether they face praise or criticism for their actions (impressively, Toda faces both from Akane in one conversation), they know what's right and wrong and they won't be swayed. I was surprised to get such an explicit affirmation of Toda's feelings, but he is at that age where anguished love declarations are a norm. Thanks as always to sarusa and thumper.

I just made sure both forms are still legal... but I'm inconsistent. If I say 'it was night time' I'll use a space, but in the case of 'nighttime activities' the 'nighttime' is an adjective for the 'activities' so I group it. It's all feels!
