This "Eight Protection Act" being a thinly disguised surveillance law is so eerily similar to all the "Protect Children Online" (especially from "porn") laws nowadays that it's kind of surprising.
Same with "age verification" for OS's and such. It's not about protecting anyone, it's about doxxing and tracking everyone for private companies to advertise to, and for governments to spy on to prevent criticism and improper opinions / voting.
A lot of it's funded by big surveillance companies like Facebook. If you see a law in your district, vote against it and contract your government officials. Notice that no one in the Epstein class of billionaires has been prosecuted and jailed, so any attempt to know who the real kids are and aren't isn't there to protect the kids at all.
If anything, it's just to make it easier to track and exploit them. And also know who the parents are to figure out a way to deal with them ahead of time.
