Where is the original translator? This one is MTL. Sad.
This group has gone around sniping at least 10 different series in the last week or so, regardless of whether the most recent chapter came out 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 months ago. They're spamming their crap on tons of series and readers are just assuming "oh the other group hadn't released in 2 months so..." except for example this series had 2 months between chapters.

That's all folks. Homie lived a good life & experienced a wonderful death that most guys will never get. Look forward to the author's next work where a guy dies by having his head squished by greatly toned thighs. Thanks for the translations.
Now this would be a great way to get isekai much more unique than truck kun or overwork.

He will be in for quite a treat next chapter of that and probably won't regret a second of it

Four chapters in and they're already killing off the MC? Ballsy move by the author.
Maybe this is secretly an isekai series and looking for a new non cliche way to get him taken out

I can see her apologizing and him seriously thanking her

You've somehow translated her name as "Miss Omomo" multiple times despite her never being called that in the raws...
he calls her directly by her name (Taitou-san) and refers to her in his mind as Futomomo-san
I thought it seemed weird she didn't say anything about what he was calling her.

Why do all of these romcom MCs have such terrible relationships with their sisters? Like I genuinely don’t think I can think of a single MC that has a sister close to his own age, and that he actually has a healthy, wholesome relationship with.
Except Akkun from Ane no Tomodachi. Their relationship isn’t as bad as most- his sister’s just a serious person in general, and she is actively supporting her brother’s and her best friend’s romance. But he’s the only one.
Is it, like, a common thing for Japanese high schoolers to have terrible sibling relationships, or what is this??

I can't say for sure, since this is my first time running into them, but it does kind of read like MTL, and the name thing is kind of a big giveaway.

It's written 太桃, which is not a standard name and could be read as "Omomo", but the correct way to read it is given right next to it in furigana: たいとう (taitou). So either they're willingly ignoring the furigana, or worse, can't read basic hiragana (which would mean they couldn't translate a single word on their own.)

Fun fact: The kanji in her name literally translate to "thick peach."
It’s been a while since I last read this series, and I completely forgot what her name was, so thank y’all for pointing this out

Chapter 2 page 1 has her name in a box as "Taito Kyouko". I'm guessing Omomo may be an alternate reading of a kanji character? This IS a new translator it appears.

It looks like a nickname or a word play. Miss Omomo would match translating "-san" to "Miss" but not translating Momo or Omomo to "Thighs".

I found this with Gemini AI:

3. Misinterpretation of "Momo" (Thighs)

You may have encountered "Omomo" in the context of recent manga discussions or translations. In Japanese, momo (腿) means "thigh." Adding the honorific prefix o- (お) is a common way to make a word sound polite or cute, resulting in omomo (お腿)—literally "honorable thighs." This is often used in fan-translated manga titles or character nicknames to sound suggestive or cute.

It's not a nickname or wordplay, whatever MTL they used to translate probably just picked up 太 as 大, and they didn't bother reading the furigana.
