I don't know why the fuck they wasted like 15 chapters on the class president just to have her lose. If it was to "apply pressure" to Asahi to confess, there are a million other ways to do it. And for the breaking point to be Kageyama 'wiping Maezono's tears' by reaching his fucking arm over? Like, holy shit, that's SO forced it hurts. Who the fuck does that?

Holy levels of not giving a single fuck. This is a rare time we see the MC actually brush off the straight bullshit those 2 were throwing at him by simply not caring or saying the quiet part out loud.

The interact with Makimura was just, "Dats crazy, imma do my own thing".

His reaction to Asahi's outburst feels like he's been dying to say that for a while now. Cuz fym "I've always hated you", very rarely does he go outta his way to talk to you, its always you tryna get his attention. If you hated the guy so much, simply dont talk to the guy. Like im glad he finally gained self awareness and realized he dont gotta take the bullshit from this immature brats

Also side note here: For Asahi to say "I've totally always hated you", gives us a small glimpse into her mind. You dont randomly think that especially for someone you supposedly like. You cant wash that away with "i didn't mean it". You only say that shit in a argument if you're purposely tryna hurt them or it has been festering in the back of you mind for a while now and now the floodgates are gone and not a sense of rationale is there to hold it back, uncomfortable truths are laid bare.

I hope the author touches on it cuz i feel it would be great to understand why she felt like that.
She didn't say that. She said she hated how bossy he can be sometimes right after he just tried to scold her for showing emotion in public. It was a harsh way of saying it, but it wasn't like it came from nothing

I think Asahi Asahi has been bottling up her feelings for far too long. The marriage proposal and seeing Ryo with Maezono on the balcony were the last straw. Asahi couldn't take the pressure anymore and snapped. Ryo has acted a bit like an asshole, though.
We'll see how this all ends. I hope it's not a rushed finale.
Thank you for the translation!

P.S.: The distribution of chapters in volumes is incorrect. Volume 2 contains chapters 9 to 17 and includes an omake. I hope it helps! :salute:

Please not, mass release always kill the conversation/comments for all the chapters but the last one from the mass release, and those comments are always half the joy on series like this.
Idk we'll see. Maybe we can do 1 ch daily for the last few but not sure yet.

He was also imature, his actions were not that of someone who cares about Asahi, even as afriend.
When someone's sad and mad like that you don't confront them infront of an audience, even more so if you don't know what it is they're mad or sad about. It could 100% be something someone there did and she wouldn't be ok in telling you that infront of everyone.
Not only that, your aproach shouldn't be like that, he talked down to her like he's her dad or something, he's instantly placing her below him.
Also, she didn't say she hates him, she said she hates the way he talks down on her.

Speaking as another group leader (ToruScans), I'll just say that the mass release at the end works if you space them out with a chapter every day or two. It keeps people engaged, the chapters are close enough that readers haven't forgotten what's happening, and there's enough time for discussion in forums/sibreddits.

It's just a nice happy medium between dumping them all at once vs waiting weeks in between. The only challenge is that it requires everyone working on it to work ahead on things with more coordination.
