My theory not spoiler
Yuzu mom was married to Dad due to some political or other reason but she already had someone. Similarly dad was already in love with naomi mom. So they decided to only keep a pretend family while keeping their lovers seperate. Something like mutual adultary. In that case Yuzu won't be the legal daughter either. And the head actually knows that. Hence he let Naoomi live there to keep a potential heir now that his son is dead. This also explains why yuzu mom is trying to keep them away from digging into this matter. And all these will be revealed much later after Yuzu and Naoomi developed complex feeling for each other but cant admit thinking they are half siblings. And when they learn they are not they f*ck. THE END.

Wow, only a week there and this is what they think of him? A bit harsh armite?...

But I am glad that he was able to show his good side to everyone. And that he will be able to rise and be head of the house one day. He is earnest and good person and not bent on corruption or political games, he would be a great head.

But I am concerned because of family secrets. Elcief's theory might not be that far off to be honest.

That was my general thought after last chapter. Especially as Mikiomi and Shuuka are introduced as Omikuni's children specifically, and not Kazuomi's. That feels significant to me, in that same context.

I almost hope it's not that straightforward, but I guess we'll see.

I can see it work two ways:

1. The family allows MC to marry Yuzu to bring him into the family in a more official manner, since their father having an affair isn't something that would be allowed to go public.

2. Family thinks MC is a bad influence on Yuzu and tries to seperate them, but Yuzu is too much in love and attempts to elope again with MC after trying to develop a relationship in secret.

In the short term I think MC will lose the bet and Yuzu asks him to do something that crosses the line of being siblings.
